COS-TOURCCI-2017-3-03: Supporting the promotion and development of transnational thematic tourism products linked to cultural and creative industries
This call for proposals aims at co-funding projects developing and promoting transnational tourism products related specifically to the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) subsector 'cultural heritage'. A particular focus is being placed on using CCIs-related technologies in promoting these tourism products and enhancing visitor's experience.
Eligibility of applicants
Applicants must be legal entities and must correspond to the definition of at least one of the target organisations mentioned in section 6 of the call that are active in the field of tourism, cultural and creative industry (CCIs). Applicants must also be fully or partly public or private bodies; private bodies must be properly constituted and registered under national law.
Only applications from legal entities established in the following countries are eligible:
- EU Member
- States countries participating in the COSME programme pursuant to Article 6 of the COSME Regulation
The consortium must gather a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 members/partners—different legal entities—covering at least 4 eligible countries.
The consortium must be composed of at least:
- a) one managing authority of a UNESCO cultural site included in the World Heritage list
- b) one SME—Small and Medium-Sized enterprise—acting in the tourism or the CCIs subsector cultural heritage
- c) one national or regional or local public authority

Talking Barents seminar was held at Norway House in Brussels in 16th June 2016. The seminar was organized by the Norwegian Barents Secretariat and the North Norway European Office.
The seminar was about Barents Cooperation and it focused in opportunities and challenges in the cross-border cooperation in culture, business development, indigenous peoples’ issues, education, civil society and environmental protection. About 100 participants attended.

The 7th Strategy Forum of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, on the 8th and 9th of November 2016. The Strategy Forum will be arranged back to back with the Baltic Development Forum, BDF.
The event is hosted by Sweden together with the Nordic Council of Ministers and in close cooperation with the European Commission.
The overall theme of the 7th Strategy Forum is the future of the Baltic Sea Region and how to achieve a common vision for 2030. The slogan for the Strategy Forum is: One Region, One Future - Vision for the Baltic Sea Region 2030". The Strategy Forum will be used to discuss how the EUSBSR can or should contribute to a desired development within its three objectives: Save the Sea, Connect the Region and Increase Prosperity. A strong emphasis will also be placed on the agreed sub-objectives of the EUSBSR.
The registration will be open between 22 August and 30 September.

The EU Health policy platform is a collaborative initiative to ease the communication between the Commission services and health stakeholders. It is aimed to be inclusive and to reflect the geographical and professional diversity of the participants.
DG Health and Food Safety runs the secretariat of the EU Health Policy Platform. It moderates the IT Platform as well as coordinating the Commission’s input and participation.
