The national and regional authorities that are the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, the Swedish Arts Council and Region Skåne are pleased to invite you to Creative Powers for Europe!
International Forum within the framework of Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture (NDPC) CULTURE AS A FACTOR OF GROWTHwas held in St. Petersburg, December 7–9, 2014.
More than 160 participants representing various fields took part in the forum held at the St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts to get informed of the initiatives within the cultural and creative industries (CCI) in the Northern Dimension area. The array of participating organizations was prominent including cultural and foreign ministries, universities, cultural and research institutes, companies and intermediaries in cultural and creative industries, museums, tourism industry, and NGOs from the ND area.
This conference will offer a platform for networking, for creating new partnerships and exchanging knowledge and experience. Four sessions and an exhibition will show the potential of eHealth for improving the Health Care Systems:
Science and Research
Hospitals and Best Practise
Companies and Success Stories
User Involvement and Usability.
Excellent Speakers from the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) and the Netherlands will be in place for discussions with the audience. This will create the opportunity to see what we can expect of the eHealth market in the years to come and explore the limits of what is possible.
EU Design Days will be organized in Brussels in September 20-22th 2016. The event will be focusing in following themes: design as a strategic tool to support regional development, design to be used for a circular economy, urban production and design, and design thinking for public sector innovation and regional development.
Also, there is a workshop which considers how design thinking could be applied when co-creating new approaches with and for young people experiencing mental illness. In addition, one of the topics is how the use of design for innovation and growth in Europe could be increased.

EUSBSR Priority Area Culture Conference “Learning from the past - Looking into the future” in Tallinn on 13-14 November 2014.
The conference in Tallinn will constitute an occasion to introduce the first results of PA Culture flagship projects, its actions and achievements regarding improved cultural cooperation within the Baltic Sea Region. The BSR Cultural Dialogue will enter its second round, and available financial instruments for cultural projects and the future of PA culture will provide the basis for various discussions.
Northern Dimension Future Forum 2019: Fresh and sustainable experiments of the Global North

The Future Forum panels present technology- and human-centered sustainable solutions to societal challenges in the fields of health, transport, environment and culture, which are Northern Dimension thematic partnerships. Voice is given to representatives of civil society, university sector, business and government. The exhibition area presents fresh solutions to societal challenges – particularly those generated by students and youth.
The Forum is a part of the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2019. It serves as the people-to-people pre-event to the "Clean and Global North - High-Level Event on Regional Cooperation in the North event", organized by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland on 29 November in Finlandia Hall, Helsinki. The invitation-only event will also acknowledge the 20-year anniversary of the Northern Dimension.

Creativity Lab together with Nordic Council of Ministers, Estonian Business School and Creative Business Cup are organising the Creative Entrepreneurhip Academy (CEA) in January 18-22, 2016 in Tallinn (Estonia) and Helsinki (Finland). The 5-days training programme includes interactive sessions and practical workshops, field trips and internationally renowned speakers.
The session is desighned for representatives of organisations and authorities that are responsible of creating strong creative ecosystem for talents and businesses to grow.
In 14th September, the Horizon 2020 Information Day & Brokerage Event for the Work Program "Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency & Raw Materials" will be organized in Brussels.
The event will be organized by the European Commission due to the upcoming calls for proposals which will be launched in autumn 2016. The event is for the research community, businesses and public administration.
