On 28 April 2016, in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being (NDPHS) will hold a conference supporting the policy-to-project-to-policy cycle. The event aims to bring together political decision makers and regional stakeholders active in the field of health to discuss project activities necessary to achieve regionally agreed policy goals and means to ensure that suitable project results are transferred to the policy level. The conference is targeted at institutions/organizations with knowledge and expertise in the project area, which have capacity and interest to contribute to the achievement of priorities laid out in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). Thanks to the kind support of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme’s Joint Secretariat, participants will be given the opportunity to receive feedback and guidance on project ideas during bilateral consultations.
The event is part of a project supporting the NDPHS in its role as the EUSBSR Policy Area “Health” Coordinator, which is coordinated by the NDPHS Secretariat and co-financed by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020. We aim at selecting suitable stakeholders to take part in the event, to whom we will offer financial support for their travel costs, accommodation and catering. If you are interested in participating and in holding a project consultation meeting, please send an email until 25 March to conference@ndphs.org and let us know your knowledge and expertise in the project area, and whether your organization has capacity and interest to contribute to the EUSBSR Policy Area “Health.” If you are interested in receiving feedback on your project idea, we request that you send us a filled out project idea form before 7 April 2016. The project idea form and a draft programme can be downloaded from: http://www.ndphs.org/?mtgs,ppp_conference.
