This call for tenders aims to define and test a cross-border mobility scheme tailored for artists and culture professionals. The initiative paves the way for the full implementation of such a mobility scheme after 2020 within the proposed future Creative Europe Programme.
A call for tenders has been published (EAC-18-2018) to test an experimental cross-border individual mobility scheme tailored for the needs of artists and culture professionals.
The initiative will allow the testing of a new funding scheme to be scaled up in 2019 and 2020, and implemented on a regular basis from 2021 onwards.
The successful bidder will design and test a mobility fund that will complement existing mobility schemes available at local, regional and/or national levels. In particular, it should establish the conditions and criteria to implement an effective funding scheme for the individual mobility of artists and culture professionals across borders. The winning bid should also formulate policy recommendations to the European Commission, the European Parliament and Member States towards its full implementation in the next Creative Europe programme proposed for the period 2021 -2027.
