Saint-Petersburg Institute of Culture and Arts (SPbGUKI) is one of the oldest universities in Russia that has educated several generations of talented musicians, choreographers, art and culture critics, librarians, and educational specialists. The institute is one of the biggest center of excellence in cultural and art sphere, a leader in art education in Russia.
SPbGUKI collaborates with universities from Germany, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Israel, India, Finland, Latvia, Canada, Japan. It also a member of international university networks, such as: the Baltic Sea Region University Network (BSRUN), International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media CUMULUS, the European League of Institutes of Arts (ELIA).
