Analysis of the Trade Development Strategy: the Murmansk region case (2013)

Trade between Finland and Russia plays an important role in the economies of both countries.

However, lack or insufficiency of relevant information concerning trading procedures in Russia, and in the Murmansk region in particular, frequently hinders the deployment of the existing business opportunities and makes the process of entering the regional market rather complicated demotivating perspective Finnish investors. To address this problem, the current study explores the trade development strategy of the Murmansk region and identifies its influence on the cross-border trade with Finland.
