The Futures of Northern Cross-border Collaboration Project aimed to illuminate how globalization affects trade and how climate change and Arctic melting may impact resource-utilisation and life in the north.
In so doing, it also considered the recent end of the Cold War and the ongoing important development of new post-modern geoeconomic outlooks in Russian, Nordic and EU policy-making that are promoting cross-border collaboration.
