UNECON organizes International Conference on Logistics

St. Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON), one of the Northern Dimension Institute’s coordinators, organizes an international conference on Integrative Potential for Logistics in the Global Economy in St. Petersburg on 25-26 September, 2014.

The conference will be held in the premises of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Sadovaya Street 21, St. Petersburg, Russia.

The conference will address the matters, related to cooperation between Russian (including North-Western region) and EU scientific and business communities’ representatives in development of effective logistic solutions. Participants will discuss the primary ways to intensify logistics diversification forms in financial, innovational, service and other spheres, and to provide informational support to logistic decisions.

Expected participants of the conference – representatives of German railways Deutsche Bahn International, German Association of Transportation Sciences DVWG, Research Institute IGES, Russian-German Society DRGVL for Development of Transport and Logistics, GLONASS North-West, Russian and internationals logistic companies, Federal Agency for Infrastructural Development of the State Border of the Russian Federation, and from leading Russian scientific logistics schools.

The conference will also be a Northern Dimension Institute event and also the Northern Dimension Partnership for Transportation and Logistics (NDPTL) will take part in the conference.
