We at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences cover a wide competency range in engineering and sciences with around 4,100 students in thirteen bachelor’s and six master’s degree courses. We have placed a clear focus on energy engineering. “Top of Germany” refers both to our geographical location in Germany bordering on Scandinavia, between the North Sea and Baltic, and the top positions we regularly achieve in Germany’s university rankings, positions that stand witness to the first-class quality of our professorial and teaching expertise and the quality in consultation and support we give our students. Apart from renewable energy, our engineering courses include marine engineering, biotechnology and process engineering, mechanical engineering, communications, IT and media IT. The economics departments at our university are mainly geared towards business information technology, international technical communication.
