Vilnius University, Kaunas Faculty of Humanities, Lithuania

Kaunas Faculty of Humanities (est. 1964) is the only academic unit of Vilnius University, one of the oldest universities in Central and Easter Europe that is located in a different city. It is a small faculty with almost 1000 students and 110 faculty and administrative staff.

The faculty conduct interdisciplinary research in economics, management, information technologies, languages and culture and participates in national and international research projects financed by Research Council of Lithuania, Framework Programme 7 and European Social Funds. Current larger-scale projects include Pro-ecological Restructuring for Job and The Impact of Organizational Ethics on Organizational Novelty Transformation into Sustainable Innovations.

The Faculty organises studies at all three levels (bachelor, master and doctoral), Audiovisual Translation, Cultural Management and Lithuanian Philology and Advertising, Accounting, Finance and Banking being among the most popular study programmes.
